April Showers bring…

I Don’t say May Flowers, I say anxiety. This time of year is probably the most stressful for me personally. My team and I put a lot of work into all of our events and the weather has always been our arch nemesis. We joke about it all the time. “It wouldn’t be a Sleeping Angels event without some rain!” Well it’s that time of year again where the rain showers come out of nowhere and were getting close enough to the ride that the forecast will be visible for the 3rd. If your new to our events you will probably get the itch to ask the question “What if it rains?” Well we ride rain or shine and always have. We had such shit weather one year we started the day with around 30 bikes and only 4 made it all the way, 3 being trikes and the other was Todd. At that time it turned out to be the best year ever as people still came out and enjoyed the day with us but they brought their cars and also their friends who don’t ride. Right now, the forecast shows it to be a cool day with minimal wind. Lets keep our fingers and toes crossed that the temp warms up a bit and it stays dry. If it doesn’t and the forecast turns to poo, just remember that cars are always welcome and your safety is most important.
